Arabella Mocciaro Li Destri is full professor of business economics and management in the Department of Economics, Management and Statistics at the University of Palermo (Italy). She received her PhD in Management from the University of Catania (Italy). She has been visiting scholar at the Sloan School of Management – Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT) and at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She has been visiting professor at IAE Business School, Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires. She is currently President of the Italian Society of Management (SIMA)and had previously been Secretary General of both SIMA and the International Federation of Scholarly Academies of Management (IFSAM). She has been awarded various awards, amongst which the British Academy’s Medal for Leadership in 2024. She currently is member of the University of Palermo’s Senate and is the University’s Delegate for Strategic Planning
